I’m a contemporary artist living in the beautiful county of Surrey in the UK. I work in acrylic and mixed media, using a variety of materials and techniques to create layered, expressive compositions. Drawing on the coastal life of St Ives, Penzance and Hayle at the start of my art studies, I was drawn to the work of J.M.W. Turner. The paintings I created were exhibited at the Surrey Artists Open Studios in June 2024. Every piece from the series have all now found their homes.

My creative process starts with observation of a place I am interested to paint. Watching the sky, land, sea particularly the cloud movement and how it affects the landscape. Through trial and error I am able to add textures in my work using vintage dress patterns, recycled paper, moulding and crackling paste, sand and pumice to provide a deeper interest and feeling of a landscape or seascape.

I love learning, experimenting, and researching as a self-taught artist; it helps me grow and evolve. My interest in textures, colours, and structures blossomed at KLC School of Interior Design at Chelsea Harbour in London. In 2008 I attended Chelsea College of Arts to study Interior Design and Decoration. I learned from Nicholas Wilton in 2022 and I am an alumna of the Creative Visionary Program, following that I completed Find Your Joy/Voice under Louise Fletcher’s intensive twelve-week art course focused on self-discovery in art, experimentation, and practical application. Recently I finished Photography and Fibre Printing which I truly enjoyed and have created pieces for an exhibition at a gallery in December 2025.

It is my mission to help emerging and established artists find their voice through working on collaborative projects, producing exhibitions, promoting a strong community of creatives by sharing our experiences, our skills and continue to inspire those who need them most. I am one of the volunteers at Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre providing my support by promoting their activities, events through my social media, and I invigilate art exhibitions at the Robert Phillips Gallery.

Drawing on nature as a design inspiration creates soft, tactile textures and organic visuals. Nature’s beauty gently restores our sense of belonging to the natural world; when surfaces, colours and forms echo trees, flowers, water and sunlight, they calm the mind, awaken a memory, restoring and reconnecting us to the rhythms and comforts of the outdoors. Whatever you're building, I’m here to help you take the first step with confidence in creating artworks for your home, business and special projects. Let’s create something meaningful together.
